StupidCraft is Closing Down

Hey everyone,
Coming in with some hard news—StupidCraft will be closing down in the next couple of days. I’ve really enjoyed playing with all of you, but I think it’s run its course. While we may come back in the future, for now, we’ve decided to close our doors.

Server Availability:

The server will remain up for a couple more days so that everyone can:

• Explore the world one last time
• Download your favorite parts of the world to keep as mementos

In addition, world downloads for StupidCraft 1.0 and 3.0 will be released in the coming days. Stay tuned for updates in the Discord for when they are released.

What Went Wrong:

The beginning of Season 3 faced numerous challenges:

• Rushed Development: It came down to the last few seconds before launch, with fixes spilling over even after the server went live.
• Lack of Advertising: No effort was made to bring in new players after release, leading to a slow decline in activity.
• Player Interest: A natural waning of interest from the player base and the development team added to the difficulties.

A Final Thank You:

Despite the challenges, I had an incredible time playing with all of you. I hope you’ve made as many unforgettable memories as I have. Thank you all for an experience I will never forget, and I hope to see you all again in the future.
